SML Films’ greenfield plant in Europe
SML Films, founded by Pragnesh Jariwala, is a leading Indian Biaxially Oriented Polyester (BOPET) film producer located in Surat, Gujarat. The visitor produces over 72,000 MT of film per year in the thickness range of 6.five to 155 microns on ii 8.7 meter broad Bruckner lines. These moving picture lines are supplemented by vi vacuum metallizers that can turn out 36,000 MT of metallized films per year and 10 coating machines. SML's films conform to international specifications laid down by ISO, USFDA, REACH and SGS. They are used for packaging applications and a large office of their metallized film output is used as metal yarn on fabrics. Its products are also exported to over 20 countries in Europe.
In line with its corporate policy to evangelize the highest levels of quality, service and innovation, SML Films has decided to set up a new greenfield BOPET Motion picture institute in Europe. The found will business firm a state-of-the-art 8.7 meter wide BOPET line running at 500 meters per infinitesimal and turning out 36,000 MT of films per year. This line volition be supplemented by loftier-barrier metallizers and an AlOx coating facility to evangelize high-quality and high-barrier films in the 6.five to 155 micron thickness range.
